General Information

Purpose

  1. Serve as liasion between the graduate students and faculty members of the Department of Educational Psychology
  2. Serve as a source of information for graduate students
  3. Promote social activities involving both graduate students and faculty members
  4. Promote participation in professional activities 
  5. Impact departmental, college, and University policies affecting Educational Psychology (EPSY) graduate students

Goal

 

The goal of this organization is to insure the emotional, social, and professional well being of students enrolled in a graduate program in the Department of Educational Psychology

  • The officers have been working hard all summer to make improvements to EPSO, and we hope you will get involved!

How do I find out about EPSO events or membership info?

 

There are 4 ways to easily access information about EPSO:

  1. EPSO Website: You're here!  This website holds information for event and membership info, helpful links, EPSO pictures, a calendar of events, and the used book forum
  2. Facebook Group:  Join our Facebook group so that you can be invited to all our events!
  3. Bulletin Board:  Located on the 7th floor of the Harrington Tower by the student mailboxes.  The EPSO bulletin board will provide you with officer pictures, our EPSO box, and updated info about EPSO
  4. Listserv:  With the email address provided to us from your membership form, we will add you to our EPSO listserv and email you all of the latest EPSO info.

    How can EPSO help me if I have a concern that I would like to be addressed by my program?

     

    Program representatives are here to fight for you...to take YOUR personal concerns, questions, comments (anonymously if you would like them to be) to the Faculty Meetings to make your program better!  Feel free to contact your program rep at any time.

    How can I get info about the travel scholarship?

     

    Our treasurer, Rosy Saenz (rosysaenz@tamu.edu), administers the travel scholarship.  At the beginning of each semester, Rosy sends out an email explaining the travel scholarship and how to apply.  Rosy is available to answer your questions at any time!

     

     

     

    Who do I contact if I need transportation to an event?
